| SUGGESTIONS FOR GETTING DONATIONS |

Before the walk, ask friends, relatives, your dentist, business owners, co-
workers, and the like, to sponsor you. Record the necessary information on
your pledge sheet. Experience has shown:
- Most people offer a flat donation ($5, $15, $30, whatever) and give it
upfront when you talk with them. - Some offer a flat donation, but ask you to collect it after the walk.
- Some people pledge a certain dollar amount per mile. Collect the
money after the walk. - If in doubt, ask your sponsors how they want you to handle it.
There are various ways to donate, e.g. on-line through PayPal, cash, or check.

Please arrive early for registration. Bring a copy of all pledge sheets (keep
originals for yourself), with the money you collected so far. Money collected after
the walk can be mailed in a pre-addressed envelope available at registration.
