"Come,
Walk
With Us!
ST. GERARD WALKATHON
"Helping Pregnant Girls & Women In Need"
SUGGESTIONS FOR GETTING DONATIONS

Before the walk, ask friends, relatives, your dentist, business owners, co-
workers, and the like, to sponsor you.  Record the necessary information on
your pledge sheet.  Experience has shown:

  1. Most people offer a flat donation ($5, $15, $30, whatever) and give it
upfront when you talk with them.
  2. Some offer a flat donation, but ask you to collect it after the walk.
  3. Some people pledge a certain dollar amount per mile.  Collect the
    money after the walk.
  4. If in doubt, ask your sponsors how they want you to handle it.

There are various ways to donate, e.g. on-line through PayPal, cash, or check.
Please go to
Donations for details.

Please arrive early for registration.  Bring a copy of all pledge sheets (keep
originals for yourself), with the money you collected so far.  Money collected after
the walk can be mailed in a pre-addressed envelope available at registration.
Please keep each pledge sheet and corresponding
money separate.  Use individual envelopes, or the pledge
sheets themselves, to contain the money that goes with
each one.  Thank you for your help.
